  • Regarding admission/registration process, only contact:

  • Response time: It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to get a response, during the application process. TIP- Applying earlier the better

Who is Qualified?

Candidates that hold High-school certificates with a ‘pass’/positive grade in TWO out of the four subjects:

  • Biology

  • Chemistry

  • Physics 

  • Mathematics

How to apply?

  1. Register and make an account on MUB’s online registration system 

  2. Follow the instructions and submit the application via the online registration system

    1. Application form should be printed, signed and scanned/attached into the online registration system (scan copies of documents)

  3. Once the online application is submitted,  you will be notified through the University’s online account (UOA) and your email address regarding the status of your application (make sure you are always checking).

  4. When your application is approved by the Qualification Commission, you will be given a Promissory Letter of Enrolment (POE) via the UOA or your personal email.

    1. For visa purposes, if you would like to get an official paper stating the POE, you can request for this.

  5. The receival of a POE, invites you to an online interview 

  6. In order to attend the interview, candidate is obliged to pay the recruitment fee of 500 EUR (non-refundable), before taking the interview.

  7. On completion of the Interview, you will be notified, via UOA or your personal email stating you have passed the interview and hence officially accepted into MUB. CONGRATULATIONS!

  8. After receiving your acceptance email, candidates MUST send in, via post, all required documents to the University. (All this information will be clearly provided when you reach this stage)

APPLICATION

Candidates are admitted based on their given ranking on the ranking list of candidates. The respective ranking given to the candidate is based on the total points achieved in the: 

  • Number of points calculated from the official high school transcript/maturity certificate. 2 out of the 4 following subjects, Biology (Obligatory), Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics, are taken into evaluation and are graded by the internal evaluation system

    • Max. number of points achieved- 100

  • Number of points achieved on candidate’s performance during interview

    • Max. number of points achieved- 100

  • There is NO Written Entrance Exam

  • There is ONLY an Interview/Oral Exam 

Documents required

  • Completed application form 

  • Secondary school leaving certificate or diploma which:

  • an official document which states that the candidate is eligible to apply to all types of higher education institutes (Universities) and that they have passed their final year of High school (should include the grades of the final year subjects e.g. Biology, Chemistry, etc.)

  • this certificate should be validated (legalised) or affixed with an apostle ​

  • certificate has to be in English or either Polish, if in another language then has to be officially translated.

  • High School grade certificates of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths (two out of four)  

  • Health Certificate

  • Photocopy of applicants passport page

  • Photocopy of insurance card

  • 1 Passport photo

Preparatory Course

  • Obligatory 3 week pre-course online held for 1st year students from12-30 September, prior to the start of the academic year.

  • Aim of the course:

    • Help students revise their knowledge of Biology (16 hours), Chemistry (32 hours) and Physics (30 hours) which are important for understanding the basics of medicine.

    • Help students integrate into Uni life before the start of the academic year.

    • Polish lessons- teaching the basics of the Language (18 hours)

  • Cost: 350 EUR

    • Should be paid 7 days prior to start of the course to the school account

  • On the bus/tram:

Intercity travelling in Poland:

  • You can get 51% discount with your student ID (not if you are 26 and over)

Jakdojade is a public transport app that everyone uses to travel via public transport in Poland. You put in your current location and your destination and it will show you what buses/trams to take. This app can be used in all Polish cities, as there is a feature where you can change the city you are in.

Food/Restaurants

  • There is no canteen service available.

  • Students have to cook or order food

    • Cooking your own food is much more cost effective than eating outside in restaurants. (Learning some basic cooking skills will be very useful)

  • Weekly grocery shopping costs varies for each individual depending on their diet, preferences and choice of grocery shop

  • Grocery shops:

    • Biedronka​

    • Lidl

    • Carefour

  • *The first 1-2 weeks of living, your shopping costs will most likely be the highest, as you would be buying the basic things like, washing powder, sponges, frozen food, canned foods and etc
