Response time: It can take anywhere from a few days to 3 weeks to get a response, during the application process. TIP- Applying earlier the better
Who is Qualified?
Candidates holding high school certificates in at least one of the following subjects:

Biology

Chemistry

Mathematics

Physics
How to apply?

Register and make an account on AFMKU’s Online application system

TIP: Use an email address you use regularly, as you will receive all sorts of links and updates on your application

Follow the instructions and complete the application form:
- Pay the application fee of 85 PLN
-
Print the application form, sign it and post it along with the documents mentioned below to the University (address mentioned under 'Contact information')
-
Once the University receives your post, they will send you an email, stating whether you are accepted or not.

If candidate is accepted into AFMKU, in order to confirm your place, candidate has to pay a fee of 625 EUR
-
After this, candidate is required to have a full medical check up done in Poland only, the medical check up cannot be done in candidate's own country.

How are Applicants assessed?
Candidates are admitted based on their high school grades

There is NO written entrance exam + interview/oral exam

These certificates should be validated (legalised) or affixed with an apostle and translated to Polish.

The translation has to be done by a swore translator (ask the University)

TIP: Make sure you carry your student ID when travelling on public transport & trains, to avoid fines of 150-300 PLN from ticket inspectors!

Jakdojade is a public transport app that everyone uses to travel via public transport in Poland. You put in your current location and your destination and it will show you what buses/trams to take. This app can be used in all Polish cities, as there is a feature where you can change the city you are in.
